Opening of the exhibition of scientific photography "Nature of Science" in Krasnoyarsk ICAE

Our world is full of mysteries, and scientists are looking for answers to the question: how does this world function? "Nature of Science" is an exhibition of scientific photography organized by the Federal Research Center "KSC SB RAS", where you will learn how Krasnoyarsk scientists study nature. This exhibition has already visited two museums — the GEOS Museum of Geology and the Peace Square Museum Center.
At ICAE Krasnoyarsk, the opening event will be devoted to such topic as man and his interaction with the environment. Two fascinating lectures on ecology and "green chemistry" to be delivered by scientists of the Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS are waiting for you.
The exhibition will be opened by Egor Zadereev, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Head of Scientific Communications Service, with a lecture "When will we destroy the biosphere?"
We most often consider environmental problems through the prism of human interaction with the environment and the changes occurring around us due to our activities. These changes have long been noticeable at the level of the entire planet. Scientists even call the current time the Anthropocene - an era when the appearance of the planet is mainly determined by human activities.
The second lecture is "Green chemistry: transition from oil to vegetable raw materials". At the heart of "green chemistry" is the idea that new schemes of chemical reactions and processes should reduce the impact of chemical production on the environment. Specialists of FRC "Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS" do not lag behind world trends. Yury Malyar, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of SB RAS, will tell about the prospects of green chemistry.
The exhibition is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology and the All-Russian Festival "Science 0+".
