Institute of Computational Modeling SB RAS
The Institute was created on January 1, 1975. At that time it was known as the Computer Center of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 2016 the Institute was included into the Federal Research Center «Krasnoyarsk Science Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences » (FRS KSC SB RAS) as a separate subdivision. The Institute is carrying out studies in the direction «Information-computer modeling of complex processes and systems», which includes three parts:

mathematical modeling and analysis of environmental, social and technological processes with the application of high-performance computational complexes of new generations;

theoretical and experimental provision of the development of advanced space technologies and equipment;

creation of information management systems based on the integration of data processing technologies, geoinformation modeling and decision support.
