"This day, indeed, can be considered a "red day of the calendar" for the employees of the Institute of Physics, because it was owing to the talent, energy and efforts of Leonid Vasilyevich that fundamental science was started in Krasnoyarsk and the Institute was founded," says Dmitry Balaev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences , Director of the L.V.
