The Ministry of Agriculture and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Region has summed up the results of the traditional competition "The best food product in the Krasnoyarsk Region." This year, nearly forty regional enterprises of the agro-industrial complex and individual entrepreneurs took part in the competition.

Two products of the experimental and production farm "Minusinskoye" received prizes as the Best food products of the Krasnoyarsk Region. In the category of non-alcoholic beverages, the winner was "Smorodinovyi" non-carbonated juice drink, among canned fruits and vegetables the best was "Currant, rubbed with sugar". It is noted that currant fruit juice is a new product for EPF Minusinskoye, whose production has been started only this year.
“Our products are quite unique in the modern food market, as they are made from raw materials grown in our gardens, berries are processed directly from the fields. Everything is made according to GOST, without such unnecessary ingredients as preservatives, food coloring agents and flavors. Our products are completely natural, ”says Nadezhda Bulavina, director of EPF Minusinskoye.

The experimental and production farm  "Minusinskoye" has existed for more than a hundred years, in 2019 it became part of the Federal Research Center Krasnoyarsk Science Center of SB RAS. This is the only enterprise in the Krasnoyarsk Region representing such branches as gardening, nursery growing, as well as vegetable growing, melon growing and production of seeds of garden plants. Every year the farm obtains a rich harvest of fruits, berries and vegetables. In 2015, a modular workshop for the production of canned fruits and vegetables was opened in the enterprise.

EPF "Minusinskoye" is one of the platforms for the implementation of scientific achievements. Scientists and breeders of the Krasnoyarsk Science Center of SB RAS at the Minusinskoye experimental farm are developing new types of fruit and berry varieties adapted to the extreme conditions of the region, with an annual high yield and resistance to the main pests and diseases.
