The first of September is the day of knowledge, when millions of schoolchildren and students across the country come back to classrooms. This day is a holiday for the scientific and educational community as well. Professors and associate professors start their teaching activities. Scientists return from vacations, field work, and expeditions.

The close relationship between science and education, which is common for Russia, has recently become even stronger. Since 2019, the project "RAS-supported Schools" has been launched in Russia.


Starting from school, teenagers get acquainted with the achievements of modern science, begin to work in real scientific laboratories, and study under the supervision of scientists. This is not only a reserve for science, but also the upbringing of a new generation with critical thinking which is ready to make decisions in their lives on the basis of a scientific worldview.

We congratulate all the employees of the Krasnoyarsk Science Center of SB RAS and their family members on the Day of Knowledge and wish everyone to always strive for something new, learn the world in all its manifestations, inspire students and graduate students as well as colleagues.
