Krasnoyarsk physicists have got scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists and post-graduate students

5 July 2019 г.

Красноярские физики получили стипендии Президента РФ для молодых ученых и аспирантов
Krasnoyarsk scientists fr om the Kirensky Institute of Physics SB RAS became the winners of the Scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists and post-graduate students. We congratulate the winners!

Sergei Lyashchenko, "Nanoparticles of the system Fe-Si-Au for theranostics of oncological diseases"

Ivan Yakovlev, "Synthesis of ferromagnetic nanostructures based on Fe-Si in the magnetic field for improving the characteristics and studying their structural and microwave magnetic properties"

Igor Tambasov, "Creation and study of nanostructured materials based on oxide semiconductors for the development of highly effective transparent thermoelectric transducers".

One of the projects-winners, that created by Ivan Yakovlev, is devoted to studying the synthesis of ferromagnetic nanostructures based on Fe-Si in the magnetic field for improving the characteristics and studying their structural and microwave magnetic properties. The project of the young scientist is directed towards the creation and study of thin magnetic films based on iron and silicon for sensors of weak magnetic fields with the improved operational characteristics, such as the increased operational frequency range, sensitivity and Q-factor, as compared to the already existing devices.
"The improved characteristics would allow one to more accurately determine the characteristics being measured. The quality of microwave devices based on thin magnetic films is known to be based on saturation magnetization Ms, anisotropy field Н2 and the ferromagnetic resonance linewidth dН. Ferromagnetic thin films based on Fe-Si are very promising in this area since they have better magnetic properties than the materials used now. This work is the next stage of the study wh ere we showed high characteristics of a test sensor of weak magnetic fields based on Fe3Si. In the frames of this project we are planning to improve the magnetic characteristics of the structures based on Fe-Si with the help of the applied external magnetic field and to study its influence on the characteristics of the films", explains  Ivan Yakovlev, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, research associate of the Kirensky Institute of Physics SB RAS.
