On April 12, Russia celebrates Cosmonautics Day, and the world celebrates International Day of Human Space Flight. It is important to remember what huge work was done to make it happen. Forever in history will be the feat of the first cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, the first spacewalk of Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov, the outstanding achievements of many other pioneers. Of course, the great achievements of Soviet scientists, designers, engineers, and workers who created the first Earth satellite and manned spacecraft, space and interplanetary stations will never be forgotten. The creators of our space victories set themselves future-oriented goals worthy of a great country. They took risks, achieved technological breakthroughs, and worked tirelessly. Thanks to their courage, scientific genius, and inexhaustible faith in human capabilities, we became the first in space. Over the past 63 years, space exploration has advanced greatly. Thousands of satellites revolve around the Earth, providing communications, telecommunications, tracking, monitoring and solving other problems. Russian probes have reached the surface of Venus and Mars, and for more than twenty years cosmonauts and astronauts have been working on the ISS. Hundreds of thousands of people are currently working in the space industry.

Today, leadership must be constantly confirmed, adequately withstanding growing competition and adjusting the education system, science, and industry. Therefore, the development of science as a source of both unique technologies in a variety of fields is the most important direction of national development. The Federal Research Center "Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS" has a wide range of competencies in the field of development of space technologies. Our long-term partnership in the field of creating modern competitive space technology with the leader of Russian applied space technology, JSC Reshetnev, is successfully developing. Scientists, engineers and production workers are a unified team creating the future of Russia.

Let great pride in our heroes give us strength and inspiration to solve new problems and achieve new goals.
