School-workshop "Career in science: who a scientist is and what science is" for applicants to academic programs

The event will be organized by the Siberian Federal University, co-organizer of the Federal Research Center "Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS" with the support of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Fund for the Support of Scientific and Technical Activities in the framework of the Competition for the events for the professional orientation of youth.
Target audience includes high-school applicants, students of specialized classes and schools, specialized research studios and circles, as well as students who manifested themselves in the research, inventive and innovative activities of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Republic of Khakassia and Republic of Tyva.
During the workshop, participants will meet successful scientists and researchers, take over their experience, form the image of a Siberian scientist and researchers of a new generation, find associates, interdisciplinary design teams and places for partnership, networking, internships and further work.
The first stage of the school. May 25 - June 10 - a series of expert lectures and practical workshops on the breakthrough competencies of young scientists and tools for their development for applicants and junior students of Yenisei Siberian universities.

• May 27 - “Science and the media. Scientific communications ”, speaker - Egor Zadereev, associate professor, Candidate of Biological Sciences, head of the group of scientific communications at the Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS;
• May 29 - “A young scientist is speaking! Technologies for preparing a successful presentation (experience in public speaking and presentations) ”, speaker - Alexandra Bobretsova, Researcher, MA in Sociology, University of Manchester, INRU Project Manager (inruonline.com), St. Petersburg;
• June 1 - “Opportunities for academic mobility: youth grant projects and programs”, speaker - Veronika Obidina, head of the Grant Center of Siberian Federal University;
• June 3 - “Scientific publications. Problems of authorship in the system of scientific publications. Choosing a journal for publishing ”, speaker - Irina Sviderskaya, Candidate of Biological Sciences, associate professor of the biophysics department, deputy-director of the Institute of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology, SibFU;
• June 5 - “Project Management: from an idea to a plant, dream - strategy - goal”, speaker - Anna Vostokova, Senior Lecturer, Department of Project Management, Faculty of Business and Management, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow;
• June 8 - “From a Young Scientist to a Technological Entrepreneur”, speaker - Andrei Lexikov, Candidate of Technical Sciences., senior researcher at the Institute of Physics, Krasnoyarsk Science Center, SB RAS;
• June 10 - “Mechanisms for Supporting Talented Youth at a University, in a City, and Region”, speaker - Konstantin Kistersky, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Siberian Federal University, graduate student.
Second stage. On September 1-30, career guidance excursions will be held to the Federal Research Center "Krasnoyarsk Science Center SB RAS", as well as to leading laboratories of Siberian universities.
Based on the training results, students will be given a certificate to be taken into account in assigning an increased state academic scholarship in the nomination "For Research Activities" at the Siberian Federal University.
